Colored lights or white lights?
White, definetly.

Real tree or fake tree?
Real! Cutting it down is the best part

What is your least favorite thing about the holidays?
The importance people put on who gets what, what you want for Christmas. A lot of people stress too much about what to ask for etc.

What is the one thing that you would like to see under the tree this year?
A thermofax machine, which if you don't know is what is used to burn the screens needed for silkscreening, and it also makes the stencil transfers applied before tattoos. Also some Jim Dine and Keith Haring prints.

What is your favorite thing to do/build in the snow?
I don't live in the snow so it is rare for me to be in the snow, but probably sled or iceskate

What is your favorite holiday drink?
Cocoa with pepp. schnapps

What is your favorite holiday smell?
Christmas trees, anything peppermint

Who is your favorite reindeer?
I am unsure

What is your Christmas Eve ritual?
Everyone unwraps one present, and we pretty much are all just merry and having a good time as a family

Are you a Friday after Thanksgiving shopper?
No way, although I have gone before

What is your favorite holiday food?
Stuffing with gravy, and candycanes if they count as food

How did you find out that Santa wasn't real?
I think I gradually figured it out. No one came up to me and said " SANTA ISNT REAL!"

Who do you want to be under the mistletoe with?
Hmm, a few people from school I guess, and a boy I met in Spain

Have you bought all your presents yet?
Havn't bought any yet! I will probably get some this week, and paint/make/whatever a lot more once school goes on holiday

Do you spend Christmas with a lot of family?
No, since we are the only part of my family in California. Just my brothers, my parents, and me.

Do you still make snowmen and snow angels?
I wish! I guess I could make some sand angels or something

What's your favorite Christmas movie?
Don't have one. I am not big on seasonal films

What do you plan to do for New Year's Eve?
maybe hosting a party, or going to something in SF

What's the weirdest thing you've ever got for Christmas?
Maybe not wierd, but sad: I asked for a pet rabbit for Christmas and my mom got me a rabbit scarf. ( She wasn't trying to be cruel, she forgot that I had asked for the pet when she bought it for me.)

What's the most expensive thing you've gotten for Christmas?
I'm not sure, I can't even remember a lot of things I'v gotten haha. If I get the thermofax machine it will easily be my biggest Christmas gift ever. They run about $1500- $3000 new.

How early do you wake up on Christmas morning?
Depends. Last year one of my brothers had an early flight home on Christmas day so we had to get up at like 8 or something. If no one has to go anywhere, probably 9 or 10, depending on how much we all drank the night before.

What do you usually get in your stocking?
Silly things, tangerines, candy, dvds, cds. Any little present that would seem silly all wrapped up and under the tree.

Surprisingly, I am alive
-I was on a super hiatus, and probably still am, but I am finally recovered from mono, surgery, etc. FAB
-Leaving for Spain in less than 3 weeks, I am so super excited, not only for the killer trip but to see Nick there. Also seeing Dave Matthews tomorrow afternoon. Yea, I have a lot to look forward to.
-Grades come today, I am very excited. good grades= new sailing gear, not that I wouldnt get it anyways
-Its raining, I love it. In a week I'll probably loathe it.
-being a drunken sailor for Halloween, emphasis on the drunken. AMAZ

don't cut me from any friends lists please! eventually I will have everything back in place and be in the full swing of things again. and when that time comes, I'll still be amazing

love and luck to all

just a super funny story: and by the way my medical life still sucks

I never quite figured out why the sexual urge of men and women differ so
much. And I never have figured out the whole Venus and Mars thing. I have
never figured out why men think with their head and women with their heart.

FOR EXAMPLE: One evening last week, my girlfriend and I were getting into
bed.

Well, the passion starts to heat up, and she eventually says "I don't feel
like it, I just want you to hold me."

I said "WHAT??!! What was that?!"

So she says the words that every boyfriend on the planet dreads to hear...
"You're just not in touch with my emotional needs as a woman enough for me
to satisfy your physical needs as a man." She responded to my puzzled look
by saying, "Can't you just love me for who I am and not what I do for you in
the bedroom?"

Realizing that nothing was going to happen that night, I went to sleep.

The very next day I opted to take the day off of work to spend time with
her. We went out to a nice lunch and then went shopping at a big, big
unnamed department store. I walked around with her while she tried on
several different very expensive outfits. She couldn't decide which one to
take so I told her we'd just buy them all. She wanted new shoes to
compliment her new clothes, so I said lets get a pair for each outfit. We
went onto the jewelry department where she picked out a pair of diamond
earrings. Let me tell you...she was so excited. She must have thought I was
one wave short of a shipwreck. I started to think she was testing me because
she asked for a tennis bracelet when she doesn't even know how to play
tennis. I think I threw her for a loop when I said, "That's fine, honey."
She was almost nearing sexual satisfaction from all of the excitement.
Smiling with excited anticipation she finally said, "I think this is all
dear, let's go to the cashier."

I could hardly contain myself when I blurted out, "No honey, I don't feel
like it."

Her face just went completely blank as her jaw dropped with a baffled
WHAT?"

I then said "honey! I just want you to HOLD this stuff for a while. You're
just not in touch with my financial needs as a man enough for me to satisfy
your shopping needs as a woman." And just when she had this look like she
was going to kill me, I added, "Why can't you just love me for who I am and
not for the things I buy you?"

Apparently I'm not having sex tonight either.

After completing high school this year, I am hoping to take a year off before going to a fine arts college. I was wondering if any of you know of any great programs, either in the US or abroad, that offer a position doing charity work for a year, or traveling through countries and helping people. I am really interested in Australia, and also anything creative or having to do with the fine arts. I am really open to any program, volunteering is already a huge part of my life and I wouldn't mind continuing that, or I would also be interested in a learning or working program. I want some culture in me, and I want a year for myself. So, does anyone have any suggestions for me?

I REALLLY WANT TO DO AN EXTRA YEAR OF HIGHSCHOOL AFTER SENIOR YEAR IN AUSSIE, is this possssible?
